How to Use AutoCAD
The trial version of AutoCAD is free for 30 days. There is no time limit on the software itself, but the trial version allows you to open projects and manipulate only the default or active drawing and drawing setup.

Prevalence of coronary atherosclerosis in patients with type 2 diabetes (DM2) is higher than in non-diabetic subjects. Cardiovascular (CV) events are more common among diabetic patients. However, risk stratification for DM2 in patients undergoing diagnostic cardiac catheterization remains unknown. The aim of this study is to examine whether, in non-diabetic patients referred for coronary angiography, early detection of subclinical atheromatosis is associated with an increased risk of DM2. From a cohort of 218 consecutive patients referred for diagnostic cardiac catheterization, we included 96 patients (mean age 63 ± 10, males 52%) referred for coronary angiography. Patients were divided into two groups: group A = diabetics (GAD) and group B = non-diabetics (N). Subclinical atheromatosis was detected in 83 patients (86%). GAD was detected in 15 patients (15%). The prevalence of carotid and femoral artery atheromatosis in GAD and N was similar (carotid atheromatosis, 69% and 65%; femoral atheromatosis, 67% and 70%; p = 0.94 and p = 0.97, respectively). Among group B, in patients with atheromatosis, we detected a higher prevalence of DM2 (20% vs 8%; p = 0.04) and higher BMI (27 ± 3 vs 25 ± 4; p = 0.01), and lower HDL cholesterol (53 ± 14 vs 59 ± 16; p = 0.02). On the other hand, the prevalence of current smokers was similar (p = 0.67) and a significantly lower prevalence of hypertension was observed in patients with atheromatosis (30% vs 50%; p = 0.02).
