KEYMACRO is a bit like our old friend SuperKaramba, but it is a lot faster and simpler. With this desktop you can watch your KDE desktop transform as you please. You can also create your own “tutorials” and share your creations with others.
There are no limitations to this desktop, however there are 2 limitations:
■ To save disk space, when saving a.png image of a tutorial, it will save only the folder.
■ To work you must have the required KDE version (3.5.4 or greater).
DESCRIPTION:
KEYMACRO provides a desktop wallpaper and a time clock. Additionally it has many animated background and icons settings. This desktop has no limits and no conflicts, however it is not perfect and is best used with an 8.5MB+ (I think) of free disk space.
Limitations:
■ Only KDE 3.5.4 or greater is required.
■ This desktop does not have working applications.
KEYMACRO Requirements:
■ Requires a minimum of 16MB of free disk space.
■ You must have the Python scripting language installed.
■ You must have KDE 3.5.4 or greater.
■ You can use the default KDM theme (siggy.png) as the theme of the desktop. If you need another theme, you can get one here:
KEYMACRO Installation:
1. Obtain the latest PKGBUILD for KeyMacro.
# zypper in -t python-keymacro_0.11_all.noarch
# zypper install python-keymacro_0.11_all.noarch
2. Run the following:
# cd /usr/local/src
# zypper install –mode=0644 -R python-keymacro
# cd /usr/local/src/python-keymacro
# make
# make install
# zypper -n install -y python-keymacro
This should install the KeyMacro package.
You can now run it.
$ keymacro
DESCRIPTION:
This is a nice looking desk-top wallpaper and a simple time clock. It is not perfect but it is good for simple purposes.

Welcome to this First-Ever Internet-based course in Ethics! Ethics Beyond High School will build upon last year’s successful and innovative web-based course in Academic Ethics by giving you access to the complete research-level texts, critical essays, and pedagogic models of two of the most recognized and widely used textbooks for ethical instruction, the W. Scott Phillips and Mary Beth Norton (2003) texts: Ethics for the Professionals and Ethics for the Public. These texts are used by educators around the world to help them understand the core concepts and values that underpin professional ethics and public morality.
This course is designed to make you familiar with these texts and to enable you to critically examine their contributions to the field of ethics. Thus, this course will contribute to your degree by helping you identify and distinguish the significant aspects of academic and public ethics, and enable you to demonstrate the ethics knowledge and skills that are necessary to use these texts in the teaching of ethics to undergraduates.
The course will require the student to have access to the Internet and to a computer at home, as well as time and energy to participate actively.

Ethics Beyond High School is a course that aims to:
Develop and enhance the critical thinking skills and abilities of the student
Provide opportunities for practice in the use of ethical frameworks
Challenge, stimulate, and provide feedback to the student
Students will have the opportunity to:
Gain a general understanding of the purpose, context, content, and quality of online ethics education.
Receive instruction in the use of the internet in the production, storage, and analysis of ethical discourse.
Make informed decisions about their participation in research that is both ethical and appropriate to their career interests and level of study.
Be prepared to critically evaluate their use of ethics and to develop their conceptual knowledge and skills.
This is an internet-based course, and it requires the use of a computer with internet access at home.
